Kids Outdoor Zone (KOZ)

KOZ is an outdoor adventure ministry for men who have a calling to mentor boys ages 8-18. The trained leaders interact with the boys in an environment of patience, love, and service as we teach them how to be young Christian men in today's world using outdoor skills and adventures, like hunting, fishing, and camping, to convey the message. This is not just a chance to mentor, but also an opportunity for personal growth and inspiration.

The group meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Smithville Campus of Cavalry Baptist Church, 607 TX-230 Loop W, Smithville, TX 78957. Any variations to days and times are announced beforehand.

 

All events will start and end at the church, even if our adventures take us to other locales.   We also do campouts a few times a year, which usually start on Fridays and go until Saturday at the standard 1:00 p.m. pickup time.
